Dogs v. "Bad Dog"

THE PROBLEM

Bad behavior is the #1 reason dogs get returned to shelters. And with LA shelters overflowing following the historic rescue of 300+ dogs and cats, the next challenge won’t just be getting dogs out of shelters - but keeping them out.

THE DATA

According to ASPCA data, about one in five dogs that get adopted are returned to shelters, often due to behavioral issues. In LA county alone, 41,395 dogs were surrendered last year.

WHAT WE'RE DOING

This “Dog Appreciation Month,” we’re launching a campaign to celebrate imperfect dogs. The pullers. The chewers. The biters, diggers, and indoor-poopers. The mess makers and squirrel chasers. The pups who mean well, even when they don’t always behave well. The ones who are working on it. Because you don’t have to be a perfect dog to be a good dog.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

> Share your own stories and tips about your pup's behavior challenges to show other dog parents they are not alone. Tag or DM us @noseofjustice and we might feature your pup.

> Download digital assets to help spread the message that all dogs are good dogs.

> If you'd like your dog to be featured in a "GOOD DOG" poster like the ones above, just email us at info@noseofjustice.com during the month of April and we'll make one for you.

> Use code GOODDOG for a free "All Dogs Are Good Dogs" sticker (just pay postage) while supplies last. Limit one per person. Get yours by clicking the image below:
