THE PROBLEM

Whatever you think you’re feeding your dog, might not actually be what you’re feeding your dog. Studies have found more than half of pet foods/treats tested were not truthfully labeled. Meaning they contained meat species they weren’t supposed to contain, or didn’t contain what they were supposed to. A 2023 study even found dog DNA in 2 out of 6 dog foods tested. Gross. 

The dog food industry has a history of questionable manufacturing practices and unenforced regulations. All adding up to a situation where dog parents can’t feel confident about what they’re feeding their dog, because they can’t trust what’s on the label.

 

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

Pet food manufacturers are cutting corners thinking nobody cares. And the regulatory system isn't holding them accountable.
